The guided house tour and the exhibits addressed the difficult history of the people who lived there and the plantation. The transportation from New Orleans was comfortable and engaging, with our driver offering historical commentary along the road.”

“This is not a tour but the bus driver (Robert D) was fantastic and gave us a history lesson on New Orleans/Louisiana while on the drive to and from the Whitney Plantation. Robert also pointed out different landmarks along the drive. Whitney Plantation was also great to see and it is very well maintained and preserved.”

Bee Bop and he made the trip really fun and informative, clearly knowing the area and even helped us spot an alligator - on the coldest day of the year! Well worth it for a trip out of N.O. to see some of the Louisiana country side!”

It was good to learn the history behind it even though it has its darker parts too. The swamp tour was incredible. The guide was fantastic and again really funny. We had the chance to hold a baby alligator which my friend was so happy about. I would highly recommend this to anyone”
